| |  | Professional Qualification Dr. Brit Wolters is a technical expert in the fields of cell and molecular biology, immunology, genetics, microbiology and biochemistry. Brit's area of practice is drafting and prosecution of German, European, and international patent applications. Further, she assists the attorneys of Dr. Volker Vossius in opposition, infringement, and nullity proceedings of German and European patents. Brit studied Biology at the Rhenish Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn, Germany. For her master thesis, she worked in the group of Dr. Klaudia Brix at the Institute of Cell Biology at the University of Bonn, Germany. Brit conducted research towards a Ph.D. with Prof. Klaudia Brix at the School of Engineering and Science at the International University Bremen (now Jacobs University). The Ph.D. was followed by postdoctoral research in the lab of Prof. Hideaki Nagase at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology at Imperial College London, United Kingdom. Subsequently, Brit completed a one-year, bilingual MAS program in Intellectual Property at the ETH Zürich, Switzerland, with a master thesis on Supplementary Protection Certificates.
